Artist/Curatorial Statement
Inspired by Northern masks, this design represents a man transforming into a bear. At the center is a human face but the hands are also bear’s claws. The bear symbolizes authority, leadership abilities and the protection of animals in nature. This design emphasizes man’s connection with the bear power.
