Artist/Curatorial Statement
The first time I saw an Eagle was with my Dad. We were walking to a fishing spot along the Cowichan River and Dad said, “Wait, look at the Eagle”, and just as I looked up the Eagle swooped down with its talons out and hooked a salmon out of the river. After that, my Dad and I fished there all day and caught four salmon between us.
This print is called Leader of the Fisherman because it led my Dad and I to a great fishing spot.
