Artist/Curatorial Statement
My Inspiration for this piece is my connection to our natural world. The Walnut (tree) grew within our traditional territory. Our Coast Salish tradition teaches us to respect all living things. It is an honor for me to portray our Ancestor who connects us to the Spirit World.
