Analog Coding: Thunderbird and Killerwhale (Grade K-3)

Lesson Plan Overview: 

These activities are intended to introduce primary students to analog coding and ADST skills, through the use of Coast Salish Art, storytelling, and problem solving.  (Lesson designed by Angella Campbell, Cowichan School District 79).

Time required:   (Teacher's choice).

Objectives:

At the end of these lessons, students will be able to:

  • Students will be able to use analog coding tools to navigate through obstacles on a map.
  • Use trial and error to make changes, incorporate new ideas, and solve problems.
  • Explore the use of simple tools and technologies.
