Artist/Curatorial Statement
The moon plays a huge part in how we carry on traditions like clam digging and fishing. Since the moon controls the tides, it tells us when to go fishing or, if it is low tide, to go clam digging.
I like this image because it is unusual to see moon and salmon together.
